Preparation

What do I need to prepare for the Discovery Call?

View the video to ensure you understand who we are, what we do, and why we do it.
Be ready to focus on the call, preferably in a quiet place with no distractions.
Be open and ready for change and questions. We’ll ask you many questions since it helps us guarantee that everything we do will work for you. Consider the following before we begin: What is your estimated borrowing capacity? How much money do you have in savings? What are your goals?

Who will be taking the call?

Should I buy now or should I wait?

Can we get started if we have not yet been approved for financing?

How much money do I need to start?

We recommend that you have borrowing capacity, enough savings, and/or equity for a 90k minimum. Although this is not due up front this is the base we suggest to get started.

Before the call, I just want to know... How does it all work?

Great question. Here’s our 12-step process:

  1. You’ll jump on a quick discovery call to get your questions answered and point you in the right direction – This could be a referral to a broker, some more education, or booking you into the next step
  2. Our Advisors will go deeper with you on your goals, and come up with a general strategy on how Dashdot could help you to build a portfolio that actually helps you to achieve your goals
  3. When you’re ready to jump in, we’ll start setting up your power team, lead by your dedicated Account Manager
  4. If you’re receiving a Portfolio Growth Plan, we’ll start with our Strategists interviewing you about your situation, preferences, constraints & future plans, before building your custom Portfolio Growth Plan
  5. You’ll meet with your power team to lock in your Strategic Brief – this is what we go hunting for
  6. Our Acquisitions team get to work, and scour the top 1% of locations for your ideal asset
  7. We’ll reject on average 67 properties, before presenting you with THE one – then get to work on securing it on your behalf
  8. You’ll be guided through the entire acquisition process – conveyancing, finance, dates to remember, insurance, property management. We’ve done this more than 1,000 times…
  9. Time to celebrate – now you’ve settled on your property!
  10. You’ll debrief with your team to tie up any loose ends
  11. Our system will keep an eye on your property’s performance, and you’ll receive performance updates from the team every year
  12. When you’re ready to go again and keep building your portfolio, you’ll jump back in at step #5
It’s an incredibly valuable and smooth process, all designed to be both as enjoyable and as successful as possible for you.
